International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence for Software Systems (AISS 2025)

Description

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a field of computer science that focuses on developing algorithms and models that enable machines to learn from data, reason, and simulate human-like behaviors. With its potential to augment human capabilities, AI has the power to tackle complex challenges and thus revolutionize industries. Hence, it has become more common in recent software systems that incorporate AI techniques and algorithms such as machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and so on to perform their respective intelligent tasks.

While AI offers numerous benefits for software systems, there are also several important issues and challenges that need to be addressed. For example, AI models can inherit biases present in the training data, leading to unfair outcomes. Thus, High-quality data are crucial for training reliable models. Also, the large reliance on user data can raise concerns about data privacy and security. Finally, the absence of standardized evaluation metrics and benchmarks for AI systems makes it challenging to compare and assess their performance accurately.

In this workshop, we will explore the integration of cutting-edge AI techniques and algorithms to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and adaptability of software development, maintenance, and operations. Additionally, we will look into the challenges and issues associated with applying AI methodologies to software systems. Our ultimate goal is to create more intelligent and autonomous software systems with optimized performance and reliability.

Submission

Authors are invited to submit original unpublished research papers as well as industrial practice papers. Simultaneous submissions to other conferences are not permitted. Detailed instructions for electronic paper submission, panel proposals, and review process can be found at QRS submission.

Each submission can have a maximum of ten pages. It should include a title, the name and affiliation of each author, a 300-word abstract, and up to 6 keywords. Shorter version papers (up to six pages) are also allowed.

All papers must conform to the QRS conference proceedings format (PDF | Word DOCX | Latex) and Submission Guideline set in advance by QRS 2025. At least one of the authors of each accepted paper is required to pay the full registration fee and present the paper at the workshop. Submissions must be in PDF format and uploaded to the conference submission site. Arrangements are being made to publish extended version of top-quality papers in selected SCI journals.
